GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
- After 60–75 days, when the fruits reach full size and the rind turns vibrant, mini watermelons are ready to harvest.
- Harvest method: Cut the fruit from the vine with garden scissors, leaving a short stem attached.
- Each plant produces multiple fruits—over 20 per plant—with proper care throughout the growing cycle.
- Sow mini watermelon seeds about 1–2 cm deep into the soil and cover lightly.
- If planting in rows, leave 40–60 cm between plants to allow vines space to spread.
- Watering: Keep the soil moist by watering gently once or twice a day—avoid waterlogging.
- Fertilization: After 10–15 days, use organic fertilizer or diluted NPK to support healthy vine growth and fruit development.
- Prepare the soil: Choose loose, nutrient-rich, well-draining soil such as light clay, organic soil, or sandy soil. Remove weeds, loosen the soil, and mix in organic fertilizer or decomposed manure to improve fertility.
- Seed treatment: Soak the seeds in warm water (2 parts boiling water + 3 parts cold water) for 4-6 hours. Then, wrap them in a damp cloth and let them sit for 6-8 hours until they start to sprout. This speeds up germination.
